About EduWave Village
Where inclusion meets innovation — and every child finds a place to belong.
My story begins with a personal journey that shaped everything I do today. I was born with a severe hearing impairment that was only discovered when I was around two years old. By that time, I had already fallen behind in language and early development — and my single mother, with very limited resources, faced the difficult task of finding support and therapies she could not afford.
Without funding or professional guidance, she took it upon herself to research, learn, and create her own methods to help me develop. Her perseverance and love became the foundation of my strength — and taught me that the right environment, care, and understanding can change a child's life forever.
Those early experiences instilled in me a deep empathy for children who struggle to access the support they need, and for parents who carry the weight of doing it all alone. As I grew, I dedicated my life to working with children who have special needs — alongside parents, schools, and therapists who often lacked the networks, tools, and resources to provide inclusive care.
In 2024, I experienced a loss that changed my life forever. I lost Wave — a beautiful soul I helped raise — to suicide at the age of 23. His passing opened my heart even more to the silent battles many families face: the pain that isn't always seen, the feeling of being alone, and the urgent need for compassion and connection in our communities.
EduWave Village was born from that love — from Wave's memory and from a lifelong mission to make inclusion, emotional support, and belonging accessible to all. It is more than an app; it is a living tribute and a bridge that connects families, facilitators, and professionals in one circle of care, education, and hope.
My hope is that EduWave Village reminds every parent, caregiver, and young person that they are not alone — and that every person is capable, worthy and beautifully unique.
